The Importance of Sensory Integration
At Moonlight International School, we are pioneers in integrating neuroscience in a practical way from the very first minute of the day. Before starting the academic journey, all our students participate in Sensory Integration sessions.
Why is it vital for learning?
The brain needs to be "calm and alert" to learn. Many children arrive at school with their sensory systems still waking up or overstimulated. Through purposeful movement, balance, and controlled stimuli, we achieve:
- Self-Regulation: Helping the child reach the optimal emotional state for concentration.
- Focus: Improving sustained attention and working memory.
- Bienestar: Reduce el estrés y la ansiedad, permitiendo que el aprendizaje fluya.
It is our commitment to an education that understands that for the mind to shine, the body must be in balance.
Spaces to Grow
Our Learning Communities
At Moonlight International School, we replace the concept of "rigid grades" with Workshops. These are mixed-age communities where collaboration replaces competition, and every child finds and learns at their own pace.
Children’s House
(Ages 3 to 6)
Awakening autonomy in a language-immersion environment.
In this stage, children build their personality and self-confidence. In a prepared environment where English flows naturally, our youngest students develop motor skills (both fine and gross), language, and inner order. This is the time of "sensitive periods," where their capacity to absorb knowledge is infinite.
Workshop 1
(Grades 1 & 2)
From wonder to deep investigation.
This is the stage of the "Reasoning Mind." Children stop asking what and start asking why.Here, we foster research and the beginning of abstract thought, always supported by visual and tangible materials that allow subjects like math or grammar to be "observed" and touched.
Workshop 2
(Grades 3 & 4)
Creativity as the engine for problem-solving.
Children begin to take an interest in society and the world around them. In this stage, Project-Based Learning (PBL) gains momentum. Students use their creativity to solve complex problems and understand their role within the environment and the community.
Workshop 3
(Grades 5 & 6)
Global citizens with analytical thinking.
We prepare students for the challenges of the future. In Workshop 3, analytical reasoning and deep thinking are key tools. We foster social responsibility and a solid bilingual foundation that allows them to communicate with the world with total confidence and naturalness.

Extended Hours and Services
We want Moonlight International School to be a second home where students feel cared for and safe:
- Mornings (8:15 AM to 9:00 AM): Morning care with free play and teacher supervision. A "soft landing" to start the day.
- Lunch Service (2:00 PM to 3:00 PM): A time for nutrition and socialization. We offer an on-site lunch service where we prepare a healthy and delicious menu daily.
- Afternoons (3:00 PM to 5:00 PM): Free play with teachers or participation in our extra-curricular activities (optional), designed to continue cultivating specific talents in a familiar and secure environment.
